Frequently asked questions

getting started

Do you work with clients outside of Oklahoma?

Yes. Unique Customs works with collectors nationwide. We regularly coordinate enclosed vehicle transport and manage projects remotely with clear communication throughout the build process.

The process begins with a consultation to understand your vehicle, goals, timeline, and level of customization. From there, we outline scope, feasibility, and next steps before moving into scheduling and planning.

Not at all. Some clients arrive with detailed visions, while others need guidance. We collaborate early to help define the direction, scope, and priorities of your build.

Scope and services

What types of vehicles do you work on?

We specialize in classic and collector vehicles, including muscle cars, vintage trucks, and specialty platforms. If you’re unsure whether your vehicle is a fit, we’re happy to discuss it.

Yes. We handle full frame-off restorations, partial restorations, modernization projects, collision repair, and standalone services depending on the vehicle and client goals.

Absolutely. Our approach focuses on preserving the soul of the vehicle while enhancing performance, drivability, and comfort through thoughtful, integrated upgrades.

Timing & Scheduling

How long does a typical build take?

Every project is different. Timelines depend on scope, condition of the vehicle, parts availability, and level of customization. Full builds often take several months to over a year.

Quality restoration involves extensive teardown, inspection, fabrication, and refinement—much of which can’t be rushed. Our priority is doing the work correctly, not quickly.

Yes. We limit the number of projects in the shop at one time to maintain quality and attention to detail. Scheduling is discussed during the consultation phase.

Pricing & Payment

What does a typical restoration cost?

Costs vary widely based on vehicle condition, scope, and client goals. Because every build is bespoke, we do not offer flat pricing. Estimates are provided after an initial evaluation.

Yes. Many clients choose phased builds, allowing projects to progress in stages while maintaining long-term goals.

Projects typically require an initial deposit, with progress payments tied to milestones throughout the build. Details are outlined clearly before work begins.

Logistics & Nationwide clients

Can you arrange vehicle transport?

Yes. We regularly coordinate enclosed transport for vehicles shipping to and from our facility.

We provide regular updates, photos, and progress check-ins to keep clients informed, regardless of location.

Quality, Process, & Ownership

Do you outsource any of your work?

No. All core restoration, fabrication, bodywork, paint, and assembly are completed in-house to ensure quality and consistency

Yes. Build documentation is part of our process and provides transparency, provenance, and long-term value for the vehicle.

While no restoration can guarantee future value, our focus on craftsmanship, documentation, and correct execution supports long-term desirability and collectibility.

After Project completion

Do you offer post-build support or service?

Yes. We stand behind our work and remain available for follow-up service, adjustments, and ongoing care.

In many cases, yes. Vehicles are evaluated individually to ensure they meet our standards for service or modification.
