Unique Customs didn’t start as a marketing idea. It started as a solution.
In September of 2011, founders Dustin and Jerrad were working inside a collision center they believed in — until they watched it slowly fail from the inside out. Faced with poor leadership and a business headed toward bankruptcy, they made a decision: take ownership, take responsibility, and do things the right way.
On September 1, 2011, Unique Collision opened its doors.
For the first four years, the focus was collision repair — doing honest work, building trust, and earning a reputation in the Tulsa market. In 2015, clients began asking for something more: restoration work. By January of 2019, that demand evolved into something bigger. Unique Customs was born.
By June of 2022, the team made a decisive shift — stepping away from collision work entirely to focus solely on classic car restoration and custom builds. What began in a 9,000-square-foot facility has since grown into a 35,000-square-foot, purpose-built restoration shop, with Brandon joining ownership in January 2020 to help guide the company forward.
What started as a job became a mission the moment ownership began.

Every project at Unique Customs follows a structured, transparent process.
We hold weekly production meetings to keep builds moving and communication clear. Clients receive regular phone calls and emails at key milestones. When something unexpected is uncovered, we call immediately, explain what we’ve found, outline the options, and guide the decision together. If a safety issue arises, it gets addressed — no exceptions.
Accountability is simple here: clients speak directly with the owners.

Our restorations are not cosmetic rebuilds.
From the ground up, every vehicle is properly restored — not painted over, not patched, not rushed. We handle the vast majority of work in-house, only outsourcing exhaust, alignment, tuning, and detailing when specialized equipment is required.
We carefully balance originality with modernization, treating each build as a creative process. Aesthetics lead the vision, while modern drivetrains, suspension, and performance upgrades are thoughtfully integrated to enhance reliability and drivability without compromising character.
